Identity in Gaming Panel at TC

I had the honor of being part of an Identity in Gaming Panel at Teachers College, along with Naomi Clark (NYU), Mary Flanagan (Dartmouth), and Sara Cornish (Games For Change), moderated by games journalist Austin Walker.  It was extremely fun — with engaging discussions on the power and opportunities afforded by games in providing a space for exploration of marginalized identities.  Following the panel discussion, we had an interactive games showcase that included games like Gone Home, Papers Please and EcoChains Arctic Crisis.

Thanks to Jason Wang, Melanie Brewster, Janice Robinson, the Sexuality, Women and Gender Project and the Office for Diversity and Community Affairs for their support in putting this together.
